ELECTION Timeline

  • Candidate registration opens: February 2 (12:00am)
  • Candidate registration closes: February 8 (11:59pm)
  • Start of campaigning: February 9 (12:00am)
  • Petitions to get on the ballot due: February 11 (11:59pm)
  • Proposed budgets due: February 14 (11:59pm)
  • Vice Presidential Debate: February 15 (8:00pm, ICC 101)
  • Presidential Debate: February 20 (7:30pm, HFSC)
  • Receipts due and Election Day: February 23

Election Rules

Candidates and campaign staffers are responsible for upholding the rules outlined in all three documents below. Formal questions and complaints about the rules must be sent to the GUSA Election Commission at electioncommission@georgetown.edu
