The Georgetown University Student Association's Transfer Council exists to support students who transfer into Georgetown, from the day they get their acceptance letters to graduation and beyond. We seek to ease the transition from new student to established member of our community by making students feel welcome and giving them the resources they need to thrive on the Hilltop.
The Council itself is made up of twelve undergraduate students, led by a Chair who sits on the Executive Cabinet of GUSA. Council members work to improve all areas of the transfer experience, but our work focus on advocacy and programming throughout five cornerstones of the undergraduate experience: Admissions and Accepted Students, Housing, New Student Orientation, Mentorship, and Professional Development.
